I never knew you but i felt your impact late

I am writing this as a late comer in knowing you after death after many people had benefited from your caring and humor. I heard your name pass through a lot of mouths after the tragic incident that occured but did not know who you were. I went to the internet and my social media had your same name mentioned in different areas then i got curious and so i decided to check out your legacy on youtube and what i found of you made me realize that i had been leaving in my own bubble and wondered how i never knew you person which made me embarrassed and what i saw and read of you made me understand why your name kept on flowing from mouth to mouth. I found you to be very interesting, smart, intelectual and your use of words and gestures to express situations in a humorous way won my heart over you, yes, i got to listen to your parable of the shower head. I may not had been oppotuned to have known you like many who would write here and not necessarily in person (which would have been great as well) rather through watching videos of you and learning from you. The little i learnt of you is what has brought me here to write this tribute in honor of you and your legacy.  intend to catch up on the values you taught a lot of people and get to know you more because i know you will live on in the good part of our memery.

Here on earth i will say rest in peace but i wish your soul a Happy new life where you are now and i hope you tell more parables to the Angels and make the Heavens enjoy the Blessing they gave to you. God Bless you and may your wife and your cute daughter never lack anything. Your Legacy lives, Adieu

The Futuristic Storyteller

A Martyr by all standards...

One who invokes all aspects of the culture of postmodernism in his writings, teachings, research, networking, mentoring circles, home... and even in death, YOU constructed another version of death ...

Even in death, YOU redefined its structure, nature, appearance, breadth and length of death in a fearless way unimaginable, ... Your final gaze, confidence, infectious smile all depicted one ready to transcend into the light of Glory... In fact, your final verses in Psalm 139: 9-10 reaffirmed this revelation...

Despite your immeasurable achievements - your impact and your contributions to humanity, you left us with no trophies, no certificates, no luxuries but your love, burning passion for Africa and for Africans, the world and above all THE WORD OF GOD... to  lead us in all endeavours .. In fact, you charged us subtly but strongly to allow God to use us in your final biblical teachings ...  A mysterious way to signify your end but the rebirth of a new generation, who would continue from where you left off... The biblical order...

You have indeed conquered and mocked death in your final smile and posture ... A brave warrior of the African clan... We salute you!

You will forever be engrained in our hearts and minds forever... and there will be a re-telling of you and your stories to generations to come our master story - teller.

Our ordinary but extraordinary figure... The King of the African people, the leader of great nations to come, SLEEP WELL, SLEEP PEACEFULLY IN THE LORD FOR YOU HAVE ARRIVED SAFELY HOME WITH OUR MAKER...

RIPP MY PROF. PIUS ADEBOLA ADESANMI.... TILL WE MEET AGAIN!

Truly a blessing

Prof, you are indeed a blessing to the universe. Your life and works had inspired my life to truly discovered who I am and the gift God gave me as blessing to the humanity. Your life though short had been a great joy to humanity.

‘Lost For Word’

Prof, there’s no word strong enough to describe the enormity of your loss! Your literary legacy sure will outlive you. We your admirers mourn and so does Africa. Rest In Peace!

Forever

Sir, forever was cut short because of your demise.

We can only wonder how and why but we cannot question God. We will keep these memories in our heart.

You'll be forever in our hearts.

Rest well

You worked with me on the IFRA urban violence project in the 1990s and co-edited one of the three volumes in 1997. You left Nigeria for your PhD shortly after and we have not physically met since then. Your excellent works speak for you; they live beyond you. Rest in the bossom of the Lord until we all meet to part no more. .

Our loss is heavens gain

Your sudden and untimely death come as a rude shock to those who might have cross you in life, your rise in life and the joy you bring to people as a strident voice calling Nigerian and indeed African to rise and assumes it rightful place in comity of nations will not be in vain and will also never be forgotten. Rest on brother, though your death hit us so hard we take solace in the fact that yours was a fulfilled life and heavens is rejoicing that a worthy son is back to take a deserved rest.
